ARE YOU IN THE TOP 2% OF INTELLIGENT PEOPLE IN THE WORLD? SOLVE THE RIDDLE AND FIND OUT.

There are no tricks, just pure logic, so good luck and don't give up.

1. In a street there are five houses, painted five different colours.
2. In each house lives a person of different nationality
3. These five homeowners each drink a different kind of beverage, smoke different brand of cigar and keep a different pet.

ALBERT EINSTEIN WROTE THIS RIDDLE EARLY DURING THE 19th CENTURY. HE SAID THAT 98% OF THE WORLD POPULATION WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SOLVE IT.


MY Variation

This is a variation of Einstein's Brain-teaser. I used exactly the same format as him, but took out the drinking/smoking aspects, and made the categories a bit easier to follow.

There are 5 houses in a row. Each house is a different color. In each house lives a person who was born in a different state. The 5 homeowners all have different occupations, prefer a certain type of beverage, and have their own lucky number. No homeowners have the same favorite drink, the same occupation, or the same lucky number.

The question is: Who prefers juice?

Hints:
The man from Virginia lives in the pink house.
The man from Florida prefers milk.
The man from Ohio is a writer.
The gray house is directly left of the black house.
The gray house belongs to a teacher.
The person whose lucky number is 7 likes coffee the most.
The owner of the orange house likes the number the 9.
The man living in the center house is a banker.
The man from Minnesota lives in the first house (furthest to the left).
The man whose lucky number is 15 lives next to the man who drinks tea.
The man who drinks pop lives next to the man who likes the number 9.
The man who likes number 11 is an accountant.
The Wisconsinite likes the number 21.
The Minnesotan lives next to the red house.
The man who likes the number 15 has a neighbor who is a lawyer.
